aijobs (the 'Service') considers the protection of users' personal information an important responsibility and handles personal information appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws, based on the following policy.
Article 1 (Information Collected)
The Service collects the following information.
1. Information directly provided by the user
- Email address (at account registration)
- Password (stored encrypted; the Service cannot decrypt it)
- Profile information (optional name, nickname, desired industry, job-hunting status)
- Facial photos uploaded for AI photo generation (hereafter 'Uploaded Images')
- Text information entered by the user while using the Service (entry sheet, resume, interview answers, email drafts, etc.)
2. Information automatically collected through service use
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and OS
- Access time and referrer
- Cookies (see the separate Cookie Policy for details)
3. Payment information
- Credit card number, expiration date, security code (not stored by the Service; processed and stored by the payment processor PayPal)
Article 2 (Purpose of Use)
The Service uses collected personal information for the following purposes:
- User authentication and account management
- Provision of the Service (AI photo generation, entry sheet generation, resume generation, interview prediction, email creation)
- Payment processing and billing
- Responding to user inquiries
- Communicating important notices (terms changes, service suspensions, etc.)
- Detecting and preventing fraudulent use
- Service improvement and new feature development (limited to statistical information that does not identify individuals)
Article 3 (Handling of Uploaded Images)
Regarding facial photos uploaded by users for job-hunting photo generation, the Service handles them as follows:
- We do not use them as facial recognition data. Although not classified as 'sensitive personal information' under Article 2(3) of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Service does not use them for biometric or facial recognition purposes and does not provide them to third parties for such purposes.
- We do not use them for AI training. Uploaded Images and generated images are not used as training data for machine learning or AI models by the Service or third parties.
- We use them for business purposes only. Uploaded Images are used only as necessary for AI image generation processing (Seedream 5.0 Pro by Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd.).
- Retention period: Uploaded Images are deleted from the Service's primary storage within 24 hours after AI image generation is complete. However, if the user wishes to download the generated result, it will be stored in the public bucket 'portrait-results' on Supabase Storage for up to 180 days and automatically deleted after the period.
- Transmission to third countries: Temporarily transmitted to China (Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd. server). Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
Article 4 (Third-Party Provision of Personal Information)
The Service does not provide users' personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
- With the consent of the user
- As required by law (responding to legitimate requests from public authorities such as police or courts)
- Provision to subcontractors: Personal information is provided to the following subcontractors to the extent necessary for service provision:
- Supabase, Inc. (Account info, generated data / Database, authentication, file storage / United States)
- PayPal (Payment info / Payment processing / United States)
- Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd. (Uploaded Images / AI image generation / People's Republic of China)
- Resend, Inc. (Email addresses / Transactional email sending / United States)
- Sentry (Error logs / Error monitoring / United States)
- Vercel Inc. (Access logs / Hosting / United States)
- Fly.io, Inc. (Access logs / Backend hosting / United States)
Article 5 (Security Control Measures)
The Service implements the following security control measures to protect users' personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage:
- Communication encryption (HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher)
- Hashed password storage (bcrypt)
- IP-restricted database access
- Non-disclosure agreements with subcontractors
- Access log storage and monitoring
- Employee education on personal information protection
Article 6 (Disclosure, Correction, Deletion of Own Information)
Users may make the following requests regarding their personal information to the Service:
- Disclosure request
- Correction, addition, or deletion request
- Use suspension or erasure request
- Third-party provision suspension request
Requests will be processed within a reasonable period after identity verification.
Article 7 (Use by Minors)
Minors using the Service require the consent of a parent or guardian. If it is discovered that a minor has used the Service without parental consent, the Service may suspend or delete the account.
Article 8 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The Service may change this policy in response to legal amendments, changes in service content, etc. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page. Users will be notified of significant changes via the service or email.
